Our awesome Community Manager, Casey Shumake, recently accepted a full-time job offer with Renee Rouleau Skin Care, an Urban Co-Lab frequenting company. Casey has been a volunteer and employee at Urban Co-Lab ever since we opened our doors back in September 2015.
Casey brought incredible energy, dedication, and thought leadership to our community and will be missed by all. Thank you for all your hard work, Casey!
At Urban Co-Lab, we're passionate about connecting smart, motivated people to resources and opportunities that help them achieve their goals. Whether you are a freelancer, a start-up founder, or a student looking to gain more experience, Urban Co-Lab can help you find what you're looking for. Here's what Casey had to say about her time with us:
The relationships I’ve made at Urban Co-Lab, in just the few short months that the space has been open, have been invaluable. I’ve made many friends who are doing some amazing things in social impact and urban innovation; it’s really helped me plug into that community in Austin. What’s equally awesome is that I met my new employer through Urban Co-Lab! She lives in the neighborhood, stopped by for a tour, and happened to mention that she needed additional help. As they say, the rest is history!
If you’re looking for a unique work space, want to be surrounded by genuine and passionate people, and love East Austin as much as I do… Urban Co-Lab is the place for you.
