We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Manager to add to our team. This person will help us make everyday at Urban Co-Lab the best day possible. If you're not a people-person, this job isn’t for you. If early mornings and detailed organization make you cringe, this job isn’t for you.

Everyday you’ll be tasked with ensuring that the overall experience our members and guests have in the space is of the highest quality.

You're a creator, a hustler, and a self-starter. You’ll constantly execute new ways to build community and enhance our member experience. You own your mistakes, learn and move forward at a fast-pace. You represent an effective leader and role model. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the facility is fully operational and that processes are running smoothly

  • Provide high level customer service and hospitality to everyone (guests, members, tough personalities, stars, the president, etc.)

  • Solve member related issues to ensure a cohesive community

  • Add and contribute to improving upon what we have in place

  • Work as a cohesive team with all Urban Co-Lab staff members to ensure efficiency and camaraderie

  • Maintain product knowledge and manage software for all Urban Co-Lab operations

  • Maintain the distinct Urban Co-Lab aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality experience a plus

  • Knowledge of Austin entrepreneurial ecosystem a STRONG plus, especially the social entrepreneurship/innovation space in Austin (extra 15 bonus point).

  • MUST have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment

  • MUST maintain an extremely positive attitude and take initiative at all times

  • MUST be able to move fast and efficiently in tight spaces

  • MUST be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction

  • MUST have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities

  • MUST have outstanding customer service and problem solving skills
