Flow Factory Installation

The Flow Factory is a temporary, mobile, and interactive artwork that aims to strengthen relationships between people and places in Austin’s Soul‐y Districts. It is designed to engage the public on sidewalks and in parking lots and provide participants the opportunity to experience a flow state.

The Flow Factory is being initiated and realized by vûrv, a new media-oriented creative conduit variably comprised of designers, engineers, software developers, fabricators, media artists, motion designers, and traditional artists working at the intersection of art, interaction, and computation in Austin, Texas.

The City of Austin's TEMPO program allows artists, like those in the vûrv collective, to explore a range of themes suitable for the outdoor environment and provides the opportunity for innovative, thought-provoking artwork that impacts the way people experience their environment.
