Office Hours with Lemuel Williams

Lemuel has lived in Austin since 1997 and received his degree in Geographic Information Systems from The University of Texas in 2001.  He is the Chair of the City of Austin’s Technology and Telecommunications Commission.  He was appointed to the commission in 2006 and has served as Chair of the Grant’s for Technologies and Opportunities. 

Lemuel has served on various community organizations and leadership roles. He is a former board member of the Boys and Girls Club, former Steering Committee member for Leadership Austin’s Emerge Program and 2012 Emerge graduate.  He was a 2010 Austin Under 40 winner for Technology and Sciences.  Lemuel volunteers for Hyde Park Baptist Church/The Quarries as a bible study teacher.
